In order to promote horticulture in our local schools, Eden Garden Club offers annual grants to public schools in the Castro Valley and Hayward Unified School Districts for school garden creation and maintenance.
Grant applications go out in the Fall. A committee of club members reviews school applications and awardees receive their checks before the new year.
NOTE: The application deadline for the 2023-24 school year was November 1, 2023
